5 red with sister josephine

Remember the building site next to the school?  Builders with bodies!  Not much attention paid to math lessons as I recall.
Thanks for setting this up Bomma but I wish I could navigate it.  I seem to have lost some images I thought I posted.

SOME PICS FROM SCHOOL DAYS

SOME PICS FROM SCHOOL DAYS

UNLADY LIKE BEHAVIOUR
From left Jenny Carlisle, Veronica Owen, Therese Wynne (on top) June McIntosh.  If I remember correctly this may have been when I was asked to leave the singing group - they were singing Lemon Tree (couldn't hold a tune - still can't!)
UNSEEMLY BEHAVIOUR
Christine Stanley and Paula Robins showing off their legs!  Paula with her pinnie undone - shocking!

SNOW TRIP

Hard to tell with this pic.  First two I can't remember.  Hidden Bernadette Leury, Veronica Owen, Geraldine Hardy and Doris Bonnici

ESCAPING FROM FORM 3A! (Veronica Owen)

RETREAT AT TEMPLESTOWE

Very alternative mass!  The nuns were shocked!

At the beginning!

Hi Girls.  Thought we might start at the beginning!  Cast your mind back to the late 1960s when you first walked into St Aloysius College starting in Form 1 (1967) or Form 3 (1969).  That first tram journey and long walk down Melrose Street, a bus ride along Macauley Road or a short or long walk from home!  Your pinny nicely folded in your bag (with your name carefully embroided on the side). Making sure you had your gloves and hat on just before turning the corner - those pesky prefects standing at the gate checking all was in order!

There is always so much to catch up with when we have a get together.  Jane (Perry) had the bright idea that we could write some stories about our lives at school.  I have a smart colleague (Minu - thank you) and she has shown me how to start a blog.  Please join in - you can write about your memories, post photos, comments, stories about your life then and now.

I can close my eyes and see where we sat in the lunch room under the commercial room!

Please send me email addresses of any "old girls" and I will add their names to the blogg so they can access this information.veronica.plozza@hotmail.com or veronicaplozza@nmit.edu.au
